As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Officer in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, helping to verify credentials, follow sign-in procedures, and support authorized access throughout the location.
• Support a professional environment within a corporate technology location by reporting maintenance issues, policy concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
