As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter of the location.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and report unauthorized persons, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, helping to deter disruptions, and following post orders for food and beverage operations.
