About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Patrol Officer to support a healthcare location in Tempe, Arizona. The role involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. The position is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM and pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the pharmaceutical and healthcare-related facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document events accurately.
Maintain detailed activity logs, patrol records, and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
