Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a positive experience for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, driver, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support loss prevention and inventory protection efforts by observing facility activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and completing accurate incident and/or shift documentation.
