As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily events, incidents, and irregularities in required logs and reports.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating with site personnel, directing people according to post orders, and assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and other security-related needs.
