Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
CPR certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and other restricted locations, noting conditions that could impact daily operations.
Monitor access to the location by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing staff, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures.
Support order at the location by observing interactions, helping to deter unauthorized activity, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
