Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
