Requirements

Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns.
Support a healthcare location by documenting incidents, assisting with directions and general assistance, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
