Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the Australian Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • The license must be current and not expired.
  • Candidates are required to provide a copy of their driver's license during the application process.
  • Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license that is recognized in the state where the job is located (C124).
  • The license must be appropriate for the type of vehicle they will be operating as part of their job duties.
  • A copy of the state-issued driver's license must be submitted for verification.
  • Access control/badge experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management to ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Alarm panel experience (B202): Familiarity with alarm panel systems is essential for roles that involve monitoring and responding to security alerts.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet (B204): Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required, as many tasks will involve digital tools and software.
  • CPR Certification (B205): Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
  • Customer Service Experience (B219): Previous experience in customer service is crucial for roles that require interaction with clients and the public.
  • Loss Prevention (B210): Understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices is necessary for positions focused on safeguarding company assets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Manage front-desk access activities, including greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals according to site requirements.
  • Monitor entry activity, maintain accurate visitor and delivery records, and communicate access-related information to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Support a professional front-desk environment by answering phones, handling routine inquiries, and reporting unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
