Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Using computer or tablet systems, you will document activity and communicate clearly while contributing to an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possess a guard card or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site procedures.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
Help maintain awareness of conditions that may affect operations, including access control concerns, equipment-related alarms, and environmental conditions, and communicate findings to site contacts.
