Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government office front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments as applicable, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or services.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain visitor and incident logs, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer phones, provide general directions and information, and maintain a professional front-desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.
