As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and deliveries in accordance with established security-related procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and policy violations, and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
