As a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an aerospace and defense-related billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to incidents, patrols, access activity, and shift communications.
