About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Burgaw, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and other authorized individuals while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of movement throughout the assigned location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation; maintain required qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable policies and laws.
