As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Mobile Response in Tukwila, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and applicable emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, pedestrian traffic, and restricted areas; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting appropriate assistance and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and public agency personnel.
