As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Biloxi, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support access activity, assist students, staff, and visitors, and deliver outstanding communication and customer service while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team culture.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with campus contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor directions and/or general information, and report maintenance, lighting, and other property-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily operations at the location by remaining visible, providing courteous assistance, and following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
