As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Gurdon, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry procedures, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to site contacts.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and support Allied Universal team communication during shift turnover and ongoing site operations.
