About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Coffeyville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to varying environmental conditions and site activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support site rules and control of restricted areas.
  • Observe for potential hazards, policy violations, equipment concerns, and/or suspicious activity, and report findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
