About The Position

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a hotel location, where you will patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support guests and staff, and communicate clearly while working as part of a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to hotel management and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity on the property, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support hotel operations by assisting with directions, reporting suspicious behavior, and helping to promote an orderly environment for guests, visitors, and staff.
