Requirements

Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
The client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or unsecured access points.
Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring assigned areas.
Support access control activities by checking credentials, directing foot traffic, and communicating with staff and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.
