About The Position

Requirements

  • Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
  • The client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or unsecured access points.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring assigned areas.
  • Support access control activities by checking credentials, directing foot traffic, and communicating with staff and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations.
