About The Position

As a Security Officer Medical Campus Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for security-related concerns, assist with visitor direction, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with access control during critical events, and helping occupants move through the location during disruptions and/or restricted access situations.
