About The Position

As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, amenity areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and location guidelines.
  • Support hospitality operations by assisting with directions, wayfinding, and visitor interactions while maintaining a visible presence and communicating respectfully with guests and staff.
