Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
