As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, document incidents, and help deter security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, driver, employee, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
