Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, gates, and restricted operational spaces in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
