About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Loss Prevention Specialist in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, to serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution setting. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. The officer provides customer service, communicates clearly, and reports security-related concerns.

The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.66 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local rules; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment.
• Communicate clearly and report security-related concerns.
