About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Services Agent in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor alarms and communications, and support daily security-related operations. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting tenants, visitors, and vendors, managing front desk access activities, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or visitor information as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or emergency contacts when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support daily reporting, log entries, and other front desk documentation related to security-related activity.
  • Support emergency response activities by communicating clearly with occupants, visitors, and first responders, and following post orders and property protocols.
