Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols for the location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and/or maintain visitor logs in support of authorized access procedures.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, receive deliveries, and/or communicate with site personnel regarding visitor arrivals, service requests, and front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities from the front desk by relaying information, contacting appropriate personnel, and/or following post orders for the location.
