About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Welcome Associate in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, monitor access activity, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and strong communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, and/or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation while communicating clearly with staff regarding security-related concerns and building access activity.
