About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Receptionist in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access permissions, and direct employees, guests, and vendors in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Support access control functions by helping to deter unauthorized entry, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials when required, and reporting policy concerns or suspicious behavior.
  • Answer phones, assist with front desk inquiries, and maintain awareness of daily operations to support a professional and responsive presence at the location.
