About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. In this stationary role, you will help support access management, visitor interactions, and front desk operations while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet incoming individuals, verify visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with resident inquiries, and communicate clearly with staff, vendors, and/or visitors regarding building procedures and front desk expectations.
  • Complete reports and maintain accurate front desk records related to incidents, visitor logs, packages, and other security-related or property-related activities.
