Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk, following site-specific policies and supporting security-related procedures for a financial services location.
• Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and credentials, and manage visitor access, sign-in records, and badge distribution in alignment with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Answer phones, route calls, and support front desk communications while documenting daily activity, unusual events, and security-related concerns in required reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of the front desk area, observing incoming traffic, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to site leadership.
