Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, staff, and vendors, managing access procedures, and supporting site-specific security-related policies for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue access materials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and other front desk activity.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general questions, receive deliveries, and complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to front desk and security-related duties.
