Job Description As a Security Officer Lobby Host in Mc Lean, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a luxury retail location, where you will greet visitors, manage access activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role blends strong customer service and communication with a visible presence that helps promote a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking identification and/or credentials, and following site-specific access procedures for a retail location.
Monitor entry activity, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access by reporting unusual or suspicious behavior to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Answer phones, assist with directions and general questions, and support staff, guests, and vendors with front desk and security-related inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
Observe cameras, alarms, and front desk activity, and document incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters in required reports.
