Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor visitor access, confirm identification and/or credentials, issue passes as directed, and maintain front desk logs and records in accordance with site protocols.
  • Answer phones, greet employees, contractors, and guests, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Observe lobby and entry activity, report unusual behavior or conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and consistent application of procedures.
