About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Access Ambassador in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, screening visitors, and assisting with access control and other security-related protocols.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, greet guests, verify credentials, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other front desk activity as required.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, visitors, and/or local responders when appropriate.
  • Support a welcoming retail location by helping to deter unauthorized access, observing for unusual activity, and reporting concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation related to front desk operations, visitor management, and security-related events in a timely manner.
