As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, provide directions and assistance to visitors and staff, and support orderly operations throughout the location.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and/or noteworthy conditions, and communicate with supervisors, personnel, and/or first responders when needed.
