As a Security Officer Licensed Driver Patrol in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured points of entry, and/or operational issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, trailer yards, and visitor activity to help support authorized access practices and follow posted receiving, shipping, and employee entry procedures.
  • Communicate with drivers, employees, visitors, and site representatives regarding location rules, delivery check-in processes, and/or incident-related instructions in a professional manner.
