Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team to create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a law enforcement officer license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through the proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property protocols, assisting with badge checks, directions, and/or general lobby or building support as needed.
  • Observe the location for security-related risks such as unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or suspicious activity, and communicate findings to Allied Universal leadership and/or property contacts.
