Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter, with awareness of varying environments and conditions.
• Monitor access activity and assist with enforcing site access procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Support branch and facility operations by maintaining a visible presence, interacting professionally with the public, and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
