About The Position

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and tenants. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide customer service while working with an Allied Universal team.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.32–$21.32 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Fluent Spanish speaking, reading, and writing ability.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may need to be met before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor property access, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
