As a Security Officer Industrial Driving Patrol in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access awareness, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access according to site protocols, and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or unusual behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment areas, loading and shipping zones, and common areas for security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or hazards, then escalating issues through proper channels.
