About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a prestigious financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor screening practices, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, badge access activity, and visitor movement while helping to support established protocols for employees, guests, deliveries, and/or contractors.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol findings, and policy-related concerns while helping to maintain a professional presence in a high-profile financial location.
