About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol a residential location, help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional service. You will stay visible throughout the property, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, amenities, and other community areas to help support authorized access, observe resident and visitor activity, and document security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observed concerns, and assist with follow-up actions related to property rules, alarms, and resident assistance requests.
