About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Officer in Dania, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer in a primarily driving post. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and support property rules and after-hours access protocols as directed by site policies.
• Observe site conditions and report maintenance issues, lighting concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity that could affect daily operations or the experience of occupants and guests.
