About The Position

As a Security Officer Identity Checkpoint in Earth City, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor badge access, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Through a visible presence, routine site awareness, and customer service, you will help deter security-related incidents. This is a part-time position paying $18.00 per hour, scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
