About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Checkpoint Security in Seaford, Delaware, to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. The role focuses on access control and maintaining a visible security presence while providing customer service and clear communication. Officers monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help deter security-related incidents. The position is scheduled Friday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at a rate of $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Access control and badge experience.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor registration, issue authorized access badges, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the property, screen deliveries as directed by site procedures, and communicate with appropriate personnel about arrivals, departures, and access concerns.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
