About The Position

As a Security Officer Shuttle Driver in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hospitals, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare facility, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government residential care setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities.
