About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Union City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Tuberculosis testing and MMR vaccinations are required for COLA DPSS/DHS.
  • Hospital vaccinations are required.
  • Must have one or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate hospital personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming environment while documenting incidents, observations, and responses in accordance with site procedures.
