As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, patient care areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
